Day 1

Welcome to Sikkim – Journey to Gangtok

Route: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Gangtok
Distance & Time: ~130 km | 4 Hours Drive
Elevation: 1,650 meters (5,413 feet)

· Arrival & Transfer: Meet our warm representative upon your arrival at NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport. Embark on a beautiful mountain drive following winding river valleys up to Gangtok.

· Check-In & Unwind: Arrive at your hotel, complete check-in procedures, and rest.

· Evening Walk at MG Marg: Spend your evening strolling down MG Marg—Gangtok's clean, pedestrian-only central street lined with vibrant shops, cozy cafés, and local handicrafts.

Overnight Stay: Comfortable dinner and night's rest at your hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2

Gangtok Full-Day City & Cultural Tour

Explore Gangtok’s natural waterfalls, panoramic viewpoints, and rich Buddhist heritage.

· Bakthang & Banjhakri Waterfalls: Visit broad, cascading mountain waterfalls set amidst lush greenery and local folklore gardens.

· Tashi Viewpoint & Ganesh Tok: Enjoy sweeping panoramic vistas of the snow-capped Himalayan range, including Mt. Kanchenjunga.

· Enchey Monastery: Step inside this serene, 200-year-old Buddhist sanctuary surrounded by tall pine trees.

· Cultural Highlights: Explore the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, the sacred Do Drul Chorten Stupa, and the world-famous Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.

· Flower Show & Gangtok Ropeway: Walk through vibrant botanical displays and enjoy a cable car ride offering bird's-eye views of the valley.

Day 3

High-Altitude Paradise – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Excursion: Tsomgo Glacial Lake & Baba Harbhajan Mandir
Elevation: Up to 13,200 feet

· Tsomgo Glacial Lake (12,400 ft): Depart early for a scenic 3-hour drive to this crystal-clear glacial lake, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, known for changing colors with the seasons.

· Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft): Visit the unique shrine dedicated to Captain "Baba" Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier honored for his legendary guard over the eastern border.

· Optional Extension – Nathu La Pass: (Subject to permit availability & extra charges) Drive up to the historic Indo-China trade border post on one of the world's highest motorable roads.

· Overnight Stay: Drive back to Gangtok for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 4

Gangtok to Darjeeling – Journey to the "Queen of Hills"

Route: Gangtok – Darjeeling
Distance & Time: ~110 km | 4 Hours Drive
Elevation: 2,042 meters (6,700 feet)

· Scenic Mountain Drive: After a hearty breakfast, check out from Gangtok and embark on a picturesque journey into West Bengal's mist-covered hills toward Darjeeling.

· Hotel Check-In: Arrive in Darjeeling, check in at your hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring local streets or soaking in the mountain air.

· Overnight Stay: Warm dinner and comfortable night's rest in Darjeeling.

Day 5

Discovering Darjeeling – Sunrise, Tea Estates & Heritage

Wake up early for an iconic Himalayan sunrise followed by a day of classic hill station exploration.

· Tiger Hill Sunrise (4:00 AM): Witness the first rays of golden sunlight illuminate the snow-capped peak of Mt. Kanchenjunga from Darjeeling's highest vantage point.

· Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery: Stop at the iconic spiral railway loop with its Gurkha War Memorial, and visit the historic Ghoom Monastery.

· Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda: Experience peaceful Buddhist architecture and spiritual serenity.

· Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Zoo: Learn about famous mountain expeditions and spot rare high-altitude wildlife, including Red Pandas and Snow Leopards (Zoo closed on Thursdays).

· Tenzing Rock & Tea Garden View: Marvel at Tenzing Norgay's famous practice rock wall and drive past sprawling green slopes of Chitrey Tea Garden.

· Optional Activity – UNESCO Toy Train Ride: (Subject to extra charges & ticket availability) Take a joyride on the world-famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.

· Evening Walk: Spend your evening exploring Chowrasta / Mall Road in Darjeeling.

Overnight Stay: Dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 6

Farewell to the Hills

Route: Darjeeling - NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB)
Distance & Time: ~88 km | 3 Hours Drive

· Departure: Enjoy breakfast before completing hotel check-out.

· Return Transfer: Board your transfer down to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, taking home lifelong memories of the Eastern Himalayas.

Arrival & Departure Assistance: Warm meet-and-greet service upon arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB).

Private Sightseeing & Transfers: Airport/railway station pick-up, drop-off, and all regional sightseeing as specified in the itinerary.

Accommodation: Stays in selected hotels with daily breakfast included. (Note: Stays at Lachung hotels include both daily breakfast and dinner).
